Whilst we’ve watched the World Cup over the past couple of weeks, most of us have probably been slumped on a sofa. Whilst the average football player covers over 10km per game, most football fanatics swig beer and scoff snacks. The irony is not lost.
It’s some relief, then, to read this BBC article here which reminds us not to overlook the importance of low-level exercise. If small health gains are to be had from everyday actions like standing up… surely waving flags/ jumping up and down with excitement/ consistent relays to the fridge must also be good-for-you, right? Score!
