Websites like this compare the sugar content in popular drinks in very visual terms- our teeth rot just looking at the equivalent amount of sugar cubes they contain. What’s really scary is that supposed health drinks and beverages designed for children are some of the worst offenders.
In the fitness industry, sports drinks and energy drinks are the norm for many of us. Unless you’re doing high intensity sport for at least an hour opt for water or lighter versions. Don’t be fooled that protein drinks are much better either, many contain more than an adult’s daily sugar recommendation per bottle. Go for milk!
