As the current situation with COVID-19 brings more disruption and uncertainty to us all, we want to send you a message of reassurance.
Following the Government announcement in recent days, the Amac team will be working remotely and we want to assure you that we have robust plans already in place to support all students with their studies and assessments going forward. Remember that we are here for you.
Online Courses
We have a wide selection of courses that can be studied and assessed from home, without the need to attend. All these courses are running as normal without disruption and we welcome new students looking to upskill and get certified.
Over the coming weeks, you will see new online courses added giving you even more to choose from.
Gym Instructor and Personal Trainer Courses
You may still enrol onto these courses and we will schedule your studies to start with the theory units that you can complete at home through eLearning and hard-copy manuals. You can take your theory exams from home through eProctoring, if you wish. Also, you can start your practical studies online and then attend the practical courses and assessments later, when they resume. You will have done much of the qualification at home and be able to finish off with a few days attendance and then be qualified.
If you are looking to fund the Personal Trainer Diploma with the Government’s Advanced Learner Loan, the Student Loan Company are continuing to process applications online.
We continue to follow government and NHS advice, and urge everyone to familiarise themselves with this advice and to stay up-to-date with the situation as it develops.
