I personally find it amazing (and somewhat disconcerting) that many people suffer from this for so long, experiencing many difficulties and low self-esteem as a result – especially as it is so easy to remedy. A friend of mine has a daughter with Irlens Syndrome, who once diagnosed, suddenly blossomed in many aspects of her life. My friend then became a screener and is finding Irlens is fairly common. You can find her if you search for Irlen Screener on Facebook.
Please visit the official Irlen Syndrome website for more information (irlen.com), especially if you think any of the above may apply to you.
